The Music Industries Association and Incorporated Society of Musicians have called on councils to stop any further cuts before the results of the forthcoming Henley Review of Music Education is published in a couple of weeks time.
ISM chief executive Deborah Annetts claims councils are already making "drastic cuts" before they know the outcome of the review being undertaken by Classic FM managing director Darren Henley. "They are going too far, too soon," she said.
