Last year the combined video, games and recorded music markets declined by 4.0% in value to £5.26bn with album and DVD sales some of the worst hit formats: software for Nintendo's Wii and DS platforms were down £214m, physical album sales fell £146.8m and DVD sales decreased £144.8m.
