Egmont said it sold 119,000 copies of the launch edition of the title, which was created to fulfil the appetite for the blossoming pop music market among 13-15-year-old girls. This figure, however, comes from closed wholesale figures rather than the industry standard ABC.
Egmont said it had also experienced strong traffic across its online platform, including 55,000 unique users and 298,862 page views since launch. It also has more than 14,000 Facebook fans and over 2,000 Twitter followers.
