Bug CEO John Rudolph leaves company

Rudolph joined Bug Music in 2006 as CEO, when private equity group Crossroads Media took a significant stake in the company. However, Rudolph left Bug Music last week, following BMG Rights Management's acquisition of Bug Music in September for a reported $300m.

Speaking to Music Week about the acquisition, BMG Rights Management CEO Hartwig Masuch said Rudolph's departure was inevitable. "When there are two CEO's one will always leave the company, that was always clear from day one," he said.
