HMV posts challenging results, may sell MAMA Group

The HMV Group said in an interim results statement today that like-for-like sales in the 26 weeks to October 29 dropped 11.6% (taking into accout store closures). Pre-tax losses hit £36.4m, compared to a £27.4m loss in the same period of 2010 - with losses after tax at £10.2m (2010: £10.6m loss).
