Adele beats Call of Duty and Harry Potter to 2011 entertainment title

That's according to a survey compiled by the Entertainment Retailers Association, using Official Charts data.

21 took the title with some ease claiming 3.9 million. Activision's FPS behemoth Modern Warfare 2 slumped into second place with 2.8 million sales while JK Rowling's wizard only managed to conjure 2.5 million sales for the first Deathly Hallows DVD.

EA Sports' FIFA 12 and Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 completed the top five with 2.2 and 2.1 million sales respectively.
