Shake Music (Beijing) Company Limited is a joint-venture co-managed by Steven Fock (former regional head of Warner/Chappell Music Asia Pacific and General Manager/Regional A&R Director of Universal Music Publishing Taiwan) alongside peermusic (S.E. Asia) Ltd. and peermusic's Asia-Pacific regional office in Hong Kong.

According to a company statement: 'The name Shake speaks to the company's vision of exploring new ways to penetrate the "Wide Wild East" through serving both the domestic and international music community.'
