UK Music welcomes initial conclusions of Richard Hooper's digital feasibility study

The report concludes that, relative to other countries, the UK's copyright licensing processes compare well. It highlights UK music fans as having the greatest range of licensed digital services in the world and says that the modern music industry has embraced the digital age.

Richard Hooper was appointed by Business Secretary Vince Cable in November 2011 to lead an independent feasibility study into a Digital Copyright Exchange, following recommendations made in the Hargreaves Review of intellectual property and growth.
