EMI relaunches I.R.S. Records label

The label, which was originally launched in 1979, was active for 17 years representing acts including REM, The Dead Kennedys, John Cale and The Buzzcocks.

Signings to the newly-reformed label will be announced over the coming months, with the first releases expected towards the end of the year.
