The BMI London Awards took place yesterday (Monday, October 13) at The Dorchester Hotel.

BMI songwriter Nile Rodgers walked away with the coveted Song Of The Year award (also known as the Robert S. Musel Award) for Get Lucky, co-written with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (PRS/SACEM) and Pharrell Williams.

Ellie Goulding was a triple winner in the Pop Awards, for her songs Anything Could Happen, Burn and I Need Your Love.
