BRIT of alright: Jason Iley hails BRIT Awards diversity

BRITs commitee chairman Jason Iley has applauded the diversity among this year’s BRIT Awards nominees, describing the list as “a brilliant and varied roll call of talent”.

The 2017 list of nominees provides a stark contrast to last year’s event, which was mired in the infamous ‘#BRITsSoWhite’ controversy on account of the alleged lack of diversity of nominees and the perceived exclusion of grime.
