Google Play Music has revealed a list of 10 ‘ones to watch’ for 2017.
The list, which has been compiled using both track performance analytics and the expert ears of Google Play Music, highlights 10 artists that the company tips for big things next year.
Top of the list is UK artist Rag’n’Bone Man, who rose to prominence earlier this year with his track Human, while the likes of Jonas Blue collaborator JP Cooper and US performer Bebe Rexha also feature.
Rory Woodbridge, EMEA music streaming lead, Google Play, said: "Rag'n'Bone Man's Human was one of the standout tracks of the year and we think this is just the beginning. We expect even bigger things from him in 2017.
“The new Google Play Music is all about helping people find the right music for any moment and, for many of our users, that means new music discovery. We’re excited to watch these artists break in 2017 and look forward to seeing who else makes the shortlist in the wider industry.”

Earlier this week, Google Play Music unveiled its updated streaming service, which has been designed to increase its understanding of user’s listening preferences.
