Amazon Music has announced that Shakira's October 3 concert in the Spanish capital was the most viewed livestream performance by a female artist in the platform's history.
The show, which was streamed on Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, was broadcast from the final city of Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, at her ES Latina European Residency in Madrid.
The Colombian superstar was joined by special guest Dua Lipa for an acoustic duet of the song Antología at the show held at Estadio Shakira, a pop-up stadium built inside Iberdrola Music in Villaverde.
The record-breaking broadcast was the centrepiece of The Women Shaping Latin Music, the 2026 edition of Amazon Music's annual Music Connects Us campaign celebrating the artists, sounds and cultural movements shaping Latin music.
According to the service, this year's programme "honours the women who paved the way, celebrates those moving music forward today and creates opportunities for those who come next, launching comprehensive initiatives in education and commerce that carry the message beyond the concert".

“Shakira has spent more than three decades showing the world what is possible when a Latin woman refuses to accept boundaries around her music, her ambition or her influence," said Rocío Guerrero, director of music, Latin-Iberia, Amazon Music. "She has helped change how Latin artists are seen on the global stage while using her voice to create opportunities for others. That makes her a powerful embodiment of The Women Shaping Latin Music.
"This celebration honours everything she has built while looking forward, using the reach and breadth of Amazon to connect music, culture and opportunity in a way that goes far beyond a single moment.”
On Amazon Music, Shakira and Burna Boy's Dai Dai is the No. 1 song worldwide in 2026 year to date, and Shakira is the most-listened-to Latina artist worldwide over the same period.
“The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has become more than I could ever have imagined, and I am so proud of it," said Shakira ahead of the performance. "I’m so excited to take it even further by sharing this special evening with fans around the world, together with Amazon Music."
