ERA announces AGM line-up, Decca's Rebecca Allen among guest speakers

The Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) has announced its line-up for its 29th AGM on September 14.

Decca president Rebecca Allen, Warner home entertainment MD John Stanley and 505 VP, international marketing Tim Woodley will be the keynote speakers at the event, which takes place at Dolby, Soho Square, London from 10:30am–14:00pm.

The ERA AGM brings together retailers from music, videos and games to gain an overview of the industry and to hear addresses from senior executives in distribution.

This year’s guest speakers reflect the recent changes within the industry, with the newly appointed Allen, renowned Warner Bros home video MD John Stanley and Tim Woodley from independent games publisher 505 Games offering their perspectives on the relationship between consumer, retailer and supplier.

This year’s retailer panel will be moderated by CMU editor Chris Cooke and will focus on innovation and growth opportunities with the following participants Andrew Thompson (Asda), Paul O’Sullivan (Game), Ed Kershaw (7digital), Julian Monaghan (Amazon Video) and the successful newly elected independent retailer.

The ERA AGM 2017 will also present the election candidates to the ERA Board and includes an overview of ERA’s plans by CEO Kim Bayley.
