John Niven has confirmed his involvement in the movie remake of cult music industry novel Kill Your Friends.

Speaking to Music Week, Niven (pictured) said he's “written, and am currently rewriting” the screenplay.

The film is being produced for the big screen by Altitude Film Entertainment and Rafe Spall (Prometheus, Life of Pi) has already been signed up for the lead role of Stelfox.

Niven said: “Lots of VERY exciting stuff on casting. Other than Rafe.”
