PPL collects record-breaking international revenues in Q1

UK music licensing company PPL paid out a record breaking £14.1+ million in international neighbouring rights in Q1 this year, up 8% year-on-year.

The rise is accompanied by an increase in the number of performer and record company members receiving income from international revenues from PPL, now at 17,000, up 8% from Q1 2014.

In March, PPL reported a 6% uplift in its international revenues in 2014, which reached £36.4m - up £2m on 2013.
