SFX partners with Clear Channel for marketing and content initiatives

SFX is partnering with US media company Clear Channel Communications for three EDM-themed initiatives.

The partnership will leverage the brand power of dance-dedicated online music store Beatport.

Plans include a national DJ/Producer contest in partnership with Beatport, a weekly Beatport Countdown show and an original live event series.

SFX reportedly bought Beatport for around $50 million back in February and has since restructured the company to focus on “product vision”.
