9t9t is looking for an experienced Senior Publicist to join its London-based team. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years’ experience in music or entertainment PR, a strong UK media network with proven international reach across the EU and North America, and a sharp instinct for where music, fashion and culture meet. Working closely with the Director, you’ll lead campaigns, help grow the agency’s roster through new business, and mentor the wider team.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years experience working in a similar role.
- A proven track record of leading major campaigns and securing high-impact coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking and judgement under pressure.
- Thorough knowledge of the current landscape across music, fashion, sport and art, and how they intersect.
- Experience working with brands and fashion PRs, and building fashion week schedules for clients.
- A strong UK media network across national, online, specialist and new media outlets. Established contacts in EU and North American media, with clear examples of international success within campaigns. Broad personal network and senior industry relationships with editors, creatives, live agents, record labels, VIP teams, managers and more.
- Excellent editorial and commercial judgement: knowing which opportunities will build an artist’s profile and when to say no.
- Experience of winning or growing new business, and confidence pitching to prospective clients.
- Experience managing or mentoring others.
- A deep knowledge of the music industry and where it is heading.
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for managing campaigns from end to end, including strategies. Delivering campaigns which are innovative, impactful and creative, that are consistent with 9t9t's output.
- Draw on strong contracts with UK media to secure flagship coverage: covers, major features, broadcast and high-profile interviews. Extend coverage into EU and North America where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Director on the agency’s priority campaigns and key clients.
- Work with the Director to identify, pitch for and win new business. Bring new artist, label and brand opportunities to the agency through your own network.
- Mentor and develop Publicists and junior team members including oversight on those campaigns.
- Reporting to clients, writing press releases and copy. Global fashion week pitching and schedules.
- Covering artist promo; accompanying clients to shoots, recordings, gigs, events, red carpets, fashion week and more. Represent 9t9t at industry events.
- Act as senior press adviser to artists, managers and label teams.
- Lead on sensitive, reactive and crisis situations with discretion and sound judgement. Manage embargoes, approvals and high-stakes announcements.
