Music industry executive Jay Ahmed has announced the launch of a new promotions company, Alias.
Based in London, Alias offers “tailored, strategy-first national radio plugging services, designed with wider artist campaigns in mind to deliver success in an ever-evolving landscape across multiple genres”, said a statement.
From identifying initial opportunities to mapping out longer-term goals, Alias aims to work alongside artists and their teams to build sustained radio momentum.
With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Ahmed spent the last eight years at promotions company Your Army, most recently as head of promotions.

During his tenure, he devised, led and delivered radio strategies for the likes of Bicep, Barry Can’t Swim, Jayda G, Sub Focus, Clementine Douglas, Nia Archives, Goldie, salute, John Summit, Bebe Rexha, Kilimanjaro, L.P Rhythm, A Little Sound, LF System and more.
