Faber Alt has signed a music publishing deal with Puma Blue, an artist, producer and poet.
Puma Blue is the alias of Jacob Allen, who emerged from the South London music scene.
“Puma Blue's music is noted for its blend of sensuality, intimate fragility and haunting, nocturnal ambience,” said a statement from Faber Alt.
Puma Blue’s fourth full-length album, Croak Dream, was released this year. The recording process included collaging tape loops from jam sessions at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios.
Allen is currently based in Atlanta, where he writes poetry, creates short films and music videos, and makes music for himself and others. Notable credits include co-writes and production for Loyle Carner and Biigpigg.

Puma Blue is now approaching the last leg of the Croak Dream Tour with final dates in October and November, including his biggest headline show to date at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City on November 5.
An upcoming release, Croak Deluxe, follows the latest album and will be out on November 13. It includes five unreleased bonus tracks and four live recordings from the Croak Dream tour.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Faber Alt family,” said Jacob Allen. “I have such respect for the way Faber deepens the strange little worlds of writers and artists and find myself very grateful to have found such a supportive and creatively enriching home to continue my work in music and whatever other shapes my writing may take.”
“Jacob is such a natural creative – an artist who isn't afraid to experiment and push boundaries, whilst always creating great and meaningful art,” said Faber Alt creative director Lucy Holliday. “For us to represent his work is really exciting and we're looking forward to the journey ahead.”
