Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced the acquisition of German independent distributor Zebralution Music from Bookwire.
Zebralution's existing leadership will remain in place under co-founders and co-CEOs Konrad von Löhneysen and Sascha Lazimbat, who will work closely with Warner Music Central Europe president Niels Walboomers to align strategic operations.
In the wake of the deal, Zebralution’s partner labels will gain access to WMG’s distribution, analytics and financial tools powered by Revelator, the independent music platform acquired by WMG earlier this year.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Zebralution Music, but for our label partners and the people we work with every day, it will very much be business as usual," said Lazimbat. "We’ll continue to operate with the same team, the same relationships and the same commitment to delivering the best possible service.

Publishing tech provider Bookwire acquired the Zebralution group from the German performing rights society GEMA in March 2026.
