Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp has appointed Josephine Vaccarello as president.
Vaccarello, who most recently served as the company’s executive vice president, live, will oversee the strategy and operations of multiple areas of the business as MSG Entertainment continues to focus on enhancing and expanding its portfolio of live experiences.
Her remit now includes oversight of the company’s entertainment and sport bookings across concerts, family shows, comedy, performing arts, special events, and all non-New York Knicks and New York Rangers sports bookings. It also covers the productions business, which includes the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.
“She will work closely with executive leadership to grow the business, including maximising the event calendar and ticket sales and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans,” said a statement.
In addition to her responsibilities at MSG Entertainment, Vaccarello will continue to oversee booking live concert residencies and touring acts at Sphere, which is owned by Sphere Entertainment Co and is part of the MSG family of companies.

Vaccarello’s career with MSG Entertainment spans nearly 30 years. She has played a key role in creating new signature events, conceptualising artist residencies, and delivering unique experiences for artists and fans at venues including New York’s Madison Square Garden, Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre; The Chicago Theatre; and Sphere in Las Vegas.
Recent residencies include Billy Joel’s 150-show franchise run at The Garden; Harry Styles’ ongoing 30-show residency at The Garden; and bookings at Sphere since U2 opened the immersive venue in September 2023.
She also oversaw the addition of advanced audio technology such as Sphere Immersive Sound, which made its concert debut at the Beacon Theatre and was later introduced at the Sphere and then at Radio City Music Hall.
