Harry Styles paid tribute to Dolly Parton as he launched his sold-out 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Staged by Live Nation as part of Styles' global Together, Together tour, the landmark run marks the singer's only US performances this year. Jamie xx opened the show and will join Styles across all 30 dates, which conclude on October 31.
Styles took a moment to remember Parton, who died aged 80 on August 25, towards the end of last night's show, which featured an overhauled setlist.
“I just wanna give a proper thank you to all the musicians who have inspired me over the years. Dolly, we love you. Thank you so much,” he said, before the country icon's recording of I Will Always Love You played over the PA.

The tour has included multi-night stadium engagements in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo and Mexico City, with Melbourne and Sydney stops still to come in December.
Last month, Styles officially broke the record for longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run.
Styles, who completed his 12-night residency at the London venue on July 4, surpassed the previous record of 10 shows at the national stadium, set by Coldplay during their Music Of The Spheres World Tour in 2025.
Will Munford, Official Guinness World Records adjudicator, said at the time: “Wembley Stadium is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world, so to achieve the longest residency by a musician there during a single run is an extraordinary achievement.”
Styles’ chart-topping fourth album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally is the biggest-selling 2026 release of the year so far in the UK. It has 376,859 sales to date, according to the Official Charts Company.
His solo back catalogue also includes his eponymous 2017 debut LP (656,198 sales), 2019's Fine Line (1,101,441 sales) and 2022's Harry's House (1,008,157 sales).
