Official Charts Analysis: Ed Sheeran holds off Elvis to top albums chart for 17th non-consecutive week

Coming from behind for the second week in a row, Ed Sheeran's ÷ is No.1 for the 17th time in all, albeit on its lowest yet sales of 13,975 copies, of which 6,831 were conjured up by the magic of sales-equivalent streams. Its paid-for sales of 7,144 are the second lowest in the OCC era for a No.1 album, just above the 7,034 copies sold by Blossoms' eponymous debut on its second and last week at No.1 a year ago ...
