Calling all top music biz accountants! Don’t miss your chance to enter the all-new Music Week Awards 2019 category, Accountancy Firm Of The Year.
The deadline for entries for this category is midnight on March 6, so don’t delay and enter today.
The award is open to any accountancy firm with clients in the B2B music industry, with staff based in the UK. You can find out all of the relevant criteria and apply here.
Back in 2018, Music Week spoke to some of the accountancy world's leading lights for a special report exploring the sector's crucial role in the music business, and that is precisely what this new award celebrates. Subscribers can read it in full here.
On announcing the award in January, Music Week editor Mark Sutherland said: “Accountancy is one of the most important and growing areas of the music business. These are the firms that literally keep the biz in the black so it’s only right and proper that they should take their place in the Music Week Awards line-up. Plus, we know they’ll have the funds to get their round in…”
As previously revealed, The Accountancy Firm Of The Year Award opens and closes for entries on a different timeline to our other categories, taking into account that December and January are the busiest times of the year for accountancy firms.
The Music Week Awards takes place on Thursday, May 9 at our new venue Battersea Evolution. See the shortlists for every category bar the Accountancy division here.
