The vinyl countdown: Why Sainsbury's is boosting LPs in store

Sainsbury’s music manager Peter Selby has told Music Week the company’s move into the vinyl market is “no short-term smash and grab” and that it is “anticipating further growth in 2017 and 2018.”

Selby said Sainsbury’s will stock vinyl for as long as there is customer demand. “If that means even greater choice and even more stores then we will absolutely follow that demand,” he said.
