Drive time: Majors target cars for 'mass market' streaming

Leading executives have spoken to Music Week about their strategy to maintain growth as streaming reached the critical point of “mass market adoption”.

The IFPI’s Global Music Report revealed that streaming is, at 38%, now the single biggest revenue source for recorded music.

Dennis Kooker, president, global digital business and US sales, Sony Music Entertainment, has targeted voice control and streaming in the car to build further growth.
