Peex joins MMF’s associate programme to work more closely with the music industry and introduce its technology range that will provide fans with a superior audio quality experience within live music.
Peex will work closely with MMF members and the artists they represent in order to introduce its offering to music managers. The platform’s wearable tech is set to provide new commercial opportunities and enhance the live music experience for fans.
The Peex Live offering enables music fans to create their own enhanced five-channel mix of the live concert sound via its app and wearable technology, the Peex rX. It allows fans to experience the highest quality audio wherever they are in the venue and create their own perfect mix of the live concert sound.
After years of development and testing at over 60 live shows within 15 major venues in the US and Europe, Peex is now launching in the UK, US and Europe.
Diid Osman, director of artist & label relations at Peex, said: “We’re excited to partner with the MMF as it allows us to directly engage with the artist management community with what Peex has to offer. As a former manager myself, I appreciate that anything which enhances the live music experience for fans and drives new artist revenues in the live space is to be welcomed. And this is what makes us confident of the Peex proposition to management and their charges.”
Annabella Coldrick, chief executive, MMF, said: “The MMF’s associate programme enables the world’s leading music and technology businesses to interact closely with our membership, and to drive innovation and growth in the music sector. The Peex Live technology looks hugely exciting, and I’m delighted to welcome them on board.”
The MMF represents the world’s largest professional community of music managers. It has more than 520 UK-based managers with global businesses, plus a network of over 2,000 managers globally.
