'It's about building careers': Leading execs back LP format ahead of National Album Day

Streaming platforms have spoken of the enduring power of the LP to create “music fans” ahead of the inaugural edition of National Album Day (October 13).

While DSPs have focused on track-based playlists, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube Music and 7digital are backing the album initiative led by the BPI and ERA.
