Amazon Music director Paul Firth has said the online giant is helping growth in the industry by “taking streaming to a new group of people” with its Alexa voice assistant.

Speaking to Music Week on the third anniversary of the launch of its streaming platform for Prime users, Firth said Amazon now has “a great opportunity to grow”.
