ivers Cuomo is confused. He’s at home in Santa Monica, California, explaining to Music Week why the co-writing revolution may not stop at writing songs with other humans, but ultimately extend to using artificial intelligence.
“Maybe we’ll be writing with AI or a robot,” he’s saying. “A couple of songs on each record will be written with Alexa, a couple with [songwriter] Jonny Coffer and then a couple by myself…”, when a self-aware device decides to have its say.
