LA label Waxploitation to expand 'aggressively' into UK

Former Gnarls Barkley and Danger Mouse manager Jeff Antebi has told Music Week he has “ambitious” plans for his label Waxploitation entering the UK market.

The LA-based company has appointed Eat Your Own Ears promoter Tom Clipson as London-based A&R director for both recorded music and publishing. Clipson has worked with artists such as The xx, Hot Chip, Caribou and Grimes.
