The Association Of Independent Music (AIM) and Jäger Soho have announced the return of AIM’s Label Lodge residency for 2018.
Jäger Soho is a central London-based music space created by Jägermeister and independent radio station Soho Radio.
The Label Lodge debuted last summer and will return from April 23-July 15 this year, with Wichita, 4AD and Partisan among the independent labels participating.
Each indie will take over the space at Great Windmill Street, Soho, for one week. The residencies will feature live performances and signings, show takeovers, guest mixes on Soho Radio, industry workshops, and a pop-up shop selling branded merchandise, records and more.
Paul Pacifico, AIM CEO, said: “The success of last year’s partnership between Soho Radio, Jägermeister and the Association Of Independent Music in bringing to life some of the UK’s most iconic label brands in the heart of Soho was extraordinary. Now in its second year, The Label Lodge has set a high bar and I’m excited to see what’s in store for us all this summer”.
Tom Carson, music manager at Jägermeister UK added: “We’re delighted to be bringing back The Label Lodge for 2018 and inviting a summer-long stream of independent music labels and artists through the Jäger Soho doors. One of our primary ambitions with Jäger Soho is to provide a platform for creative, passionate people and projects and I can’t think of a better embodiment of that ethos than The Label Lodge”.
