Virgin EMI president Ted Cockle has told Music Week that its new Lost Ones imprint is developing a “sonically adventurous” roster.
The label has been launched with former Apple executive Ashley Sykes and ex-RCA A&R Barry Burt as co-MDs. Lost Ones – named after a Lauryn Hill song – is based in Shoreditch as a stand-alone brand, while drawing on Virgin EMI’s promotion and marketing teams.
