Warner Music Denmark signs D1MA with plans to target 'global audiences'

Warner Music Denmark has signed prominent domestic artist D1MA.

D1MA has more than 350 million streams to date. 

“The signing marks a major new chapter in his career as he prepares to expand his signature sound to global audiences,” said a statement.

The enigmatic rapper and singer emerged in 2022 with his breakout single via 7ouma Records/Universal Music Denmark.

In 2023, he released his debut album EV1GT&ALT1D, which debuted at No.1 on the Danish charts and earned double-platinum status. 

He followed that with the standalone single I Know, which topped the national charts and went four times platinum. Tobias Rahim collaboration Bellevue was another No.1, topping the domestic chart for nine weeks.

D1MA has continued his prolific run this year with a string of hits. He was named Lyricist Of The Year at the Carl Prisen 2026 award, and headlined Roskilde Festival.

“D1MA will now leverage Warner Music’s global network to take his music beyond Denmark’s borders while continuing to build on his massive domestic foundation,” said a statement.
