Windfall gains: AIM calls for Spotify payout 'transparency'

AIM CEO Paul Pacifico has told Music Week that the majors should “do the right thing” as they pass on the proceeds from the sale of Spotify equity to distributed indie labels.

The independent sector is weighing up the differing approaches of the labels in sharing a potential streaming windfall.
