ELO to play Sunday legends' slot at Glastonbury 2016

Jeff Lynne’s ELO have been confirmed to play the legends' slot on the Pyramid stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The band have had 26 UK Top 40 singles and sold more than 50 million records worldwide. Their latest album, the platinum selling Alone In The Universe, was released in November 215.

Lynne was also a co-founding member of The Travelling Wilburys together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty.
