Talent agency WME has signed Emeli Sandé for worldwide representation.
Sandé, who was previously with Coda, was named Best Female Solo Artist at last week's BRIT Awards. Her latest album, Long Live The Angels, has sold 240,488 copies in the UK to date, according to the Official Charts Company.
The singer's debut LP, Our Version Of Events, was the biggest selling album of 2012 in the UK and second biggest selling album of 2013. It has been certified 7x platinum by the BPI, with sales topping 2.3 million. The album, which won the 2013 BRIT for Best British Album, spent seven weeks at No.1 and exceeded The Beatles' previous record by spending 63 consecutive weeks in the top 10 and selling over 4.6m copies worldwide.
Sandé has also helped write lyrics for international acts including Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Katy Perry.
She is managed by Roc Nation and is signed to Virgin/EMI in the UK and Capitol Music Group in the US.
