Ex-U2 manager Paul McGuinness to be interviewed at ILMC

Legendary former U2 manager Paul McGuinness will be the special guest for The Breakfast Meeting at this year's International Live Music Conference (ILMC).

McGuinness will be interviewed by former Dire Straits manager Ed Bicknell, of Damage Management, from 10.30am to noon on Friday March 10.

In 1982, McGuinness founded  artist management company Principle Management. He managed U2 from the start of their career until 2013, during which time they won 22 Grammys and sold more than 160 million albums worldwide. He has also managed PJ Harvey and The Rapture.

Previous stars of The Breakfast Meeting include WME's Marc Geiger, CAA's Emma Banks and Live Nation's Arthur Fogel.

The 29th annual ILMC takes place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London from March 8-10. The invitation-only event welcomes over 1,000 of the world’s leading live music professionals from over 60 countries each year.
