International Festival Forum conference and showcase to return for third edition

The third annual International Festival Forum (IFF) has been confirmed for September 26-28.

The invitation-only event for booking agents and festivals is making more passes available for festivals for its 2017 edition, bringing the total number of delegates to 600.

“We’re particularly excited to launch the third edition of the ultimate platform for buyers and sellers in the festival business,” said co-founder Ruud Berends. “We’re deliberately keeping the format intimate so invited delegates can do the best business and see great new bands, all at the perfect time of year.”

Agency Partners include CAA, Coda, WME Entertainment, Primary Talent, X-ray Touring, United Talent Agency, ITB, ATC Live and Pitch & Smith, while festival associations supporting IFF include Yourope, De Concert! and the International Jazz Festivals Organisation (IJFO).

Alex Bruford, MD of London agency ATC Live, added: "IFF has quickly become one of the most important dates in our calendar. The opportunity for festivals, promoters and agents to meet in such a targeted way is unparallelled, and artists that shine can expect a significant increase in demand for the following year’s festival season.”

IFF takes place across two London venues: Proud Camden and Dingwalls. The morning conference features panels and workshops, while the afternoon and evening is dedicated to agency showcases and networking.
