PRS for Music is partnering with Festival No.6 to present the event’s Lost in the Woods stage, as well as a panel session celebrating 40 years of punk.
The punk panel will see Generation X and Sigue Sigue Sputnik legend Tony James (pictured) sharing stories and discussing the influence of punk with revered record producer Steve Levine. The session takes place on September 3 at 3pm in The Gatehouse within the Festival No.6 village and is free on a first come, first served basis.
Meanwhile, The Lost in the Woods stage, presented by PRS for Music, runs across all three days of the festival and features PRS members such as Melt Yourself Down, Beach Baby, Fickle Friends and Pumarosa.
Festival organiser Luke Huxham, said: "Festival No.6 is set to be bigger and better than ever this year and we’re absolutely delighted to have PRS for Music on board as our partner and sponsor of the Lost in the Woods stage. PRS for Music is a great alignment for our brand, and hosting some great talent on the stage will no doubt enhance our customer enjoyment and experience. We can’t wait.”
PRS for Music’s commercial director Paul Clements, added: “What better way to showcase our amazing members than by partnering with one of the most exciting festivals in the UK. We are thrilled to be coming to Portmeirion to host the ‘Lost in the Woods’ stage as well as celebrate one of the most powerful musical movements in history.”
"We're really excited to be playing at Festival No.6 this year on the PRS for Music Stage,” commented Pumarosa. “PRS have been really supportive to us in the past...they're a great organisation for up and coming bands."
Festival No.6 takes place from September 1-4 in Portmeirion, Wales.
