Snapchat partnership for Live Nation

Live Nation has partnered with Snapchat to cover a series of festivals through the messaging app’s Live Stories feature. 

Users can contribute by uploading their own videos and photos, which will be compiled and curated by the Snapchat team. 

The participating festivals are the UK’s V Festival, Creamfields and Reading & Leeds, along with Sweden’s Way Out West. Snapchat first teamed up with Live Nation on Electric Daisy Carnival back in 2014 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Live Stories.

“Some of our best summer festivals will now be covered from every angle by music fans themselves,” said Live Nation UK & Ireland chief operating officer Paul Latham. “Thousands of special festival moments are captured at our events and Snapchat’s Live Stories will bring these together for everyone to experience – from fellow festivalgoers to fans across the globe.”

AEG Live partnered with Snapchat earlier this year to bring users Live Stories from AEG affiliated festivals including Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California, Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans, Panorama in New York, Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama and FYF Fest in Los Angeles.
