The collaborative show will be the first time that talent across the two networks join together for a programme that will be broadcast simultaneously.
Live at the BRITs is set to be a three-hour show broadcast from 7pm on the evening of the BRITs (February 20).
Hits Radio’s Sarah Jane Crawford and Kiss’ new signing Tyler West will join forces to host the programme, which will feature interviews and tracks from this year’s BRIT nominees. The show is sponsored by YouTube Music, who are the official digital partner for the 2019 BRIT Awards.
The show will go out across all stations on the Hits network, as well as across Kiss and Heat radio.
Highlights will also be broadcast on Absolute Radio and featured on Heatworld. Content from the show will also reach a potential social media audience of more than 7.3m.
Dee Ford, Bauer Media group MD, radio, said: “The BRIT Awards is the biggest night for UK music, and our influential brands Kiss and Hits Radio will offer unique access to the exclusive event to millions of listeners. It’s such an exciting time for commercial radio our listeners love the music industry’s artists and our recent acquisitions and launches including Scala Radio and Greatest Hits Radio means Bauer Radio’s offering to brands and listeners alike is stronger than ever.”
