PRS For Music to sponsor the Music Week Sync Awards 2017

PRS For Music has announced it will be sponsoring this year’s Music Week Sync Awards. Speaking about the agreement, Andy Harrower, director of broadcast and online licensing at PRS For Music, said: “PRS For Music is proud to be supporting the Music Week Sync Awards as it enters its fourth year.”

Harrower went on to detail why he believes sync has an increasingly important role in the biz.

“Sync is an incredibly important area of the music industry, not least for our songwriter, composer and music publisher members, so it’s great to see the art form given the platform it deserves and celebrated in such a fantastic way. The right song with the right visual can be truly awe-inspiring, and we look forward to seeing some amazing partnerships honoured on the night, as well as the teams that make them happen.”

This year’s event will also be supported by our platinum partner Tape and Music Week is also working closely with the UK and European Guild Of Music Supervisors as media partner.

The ceremony will take place on October 19 in London at 8 Northumberland Avenue and will be hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny.
