Amazon to launch new music streaming hardware - report

Amazon will this year launch a dedicated entertainment device offering the streaming and download of music as well as video games, films and TV content.

That’s according to video games site VG247, which says that the e-tailer will price the new hardware below $300 in the US in order to compete with higher-end competition – similar to its strategy with the Kindle Fire.
