BMG co-owner Bertelsmann has fully bought out the share in the company currently held by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), and will now take full control of the music publisher and rights company.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is scheduled to close during the first half of this year.
The parties have agreed to keep the financial details of the transaction confidential.
