Bowie and Queen songs top Super Bowl ad placements
Songs by Queen and David Bowie were among those featured in advertising spots aired during Super Bowl, the biggest sporting and TV event in the United States.
Taking place February 7 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, near San Francisco, Super Bowl 50 was faithful to the event's tradition: packed with American football action, interspersed with lavish and expensive advertising spots, and with a bombastic half-time performance by the likes of Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars.
