Drowned In Sound.com, the online portal that promotes alternative music, is to celebrate its third birthday this week with a website re-launch, and a gig at London's Spitz club featuring a live performance from upcoming singer Carina Round.

The concept, formed by Sean Adams over five years ago, has now developed into a variety of brand extensions from a monthly tabloid-style music magazine, a record label to which The Koreans signed, gig promotion and a weekly live music e-zine.
