Google reveals streaming Spotify rival

Google has lifted the lid on its long-awaited music streaming platform.

The tech giant revealed Google Play Music All Access at the 6th annual Google I/O developer conference tonight, in front of over 6,000 developers at Moscone Center in San Francisco. It is available to use in the US immediately.

Google said the monthly music subscription service offered access to millions of songs, and also play tracks that consumers already own.
