Mother's Day boosts album sales

With several targeted collections doing well, the compilations market felt a bigger uplift from the Mother's Day effect - 51.8%, more than double the 25.7% increase in artist album sales - but sales of the new number one compilation, You Raise Me Up 2006, were just 34,392, a total surpassed by all of the top six artist albums.
